  • @abioduncliff4892 says:

Thanks so much for this ,it is so timely for me 🙏

  • @Okay-WhateverYouSay says:

    Great video.

    My request:
Can you create content and produce a video to talk about a long distance relationships and how to be creative and bond more closely due to the distance? Thanks!

I would love for you to go deeper in this dynamic and guide on how to have a long and lasting relationship.

    My goal in my situation:
We live 3.5 hrs by car, or 45 min by air, away from each other. I would love to see him two – 4 day weekends Friday-Monday each month. I did request that and he said yes we could but just wanted your input on others going thru this.

    Thanks in advance. ❤

Since the beginning of time, men are not mind readers and us women, on some levels, usually expect men to instinctually know what we want. Thank goodness our brains are wired differently.

Otherwise there would be no mystery or journey to romance and love. Getting clear on what we want and expressing it without fear, but with a gentle nudge is a great practice to take up. Thanks for being on point. Really good content, Mat!

    • @kemi.a.2000 says:

@AMDay.xj7tb. I guess that’s where communication comes in. Being able to express your thoughts and feelings to each other matters. Thanks

    • @tywanasutton1640 says:

@@kemi.a.2000Exactly because, guess what?? Women are not mind readers either so communication and removing the guess work for each other is the best thing we can do in a relationship. I don’t know what he is thinking if he doesn’t find a way to communicate it to me. Whenever we care about someone we should never keep them in the dark about what we need from them. Love this topic so much!

    • @karinian2 says:

Men are hunters. If they’re not, sadly they” re not interested or they haceeotional problems like being afraid of a refuze.

    • @karinian2 says:

An they are too conceited. I met men that couldn’t speak the invitation to go together to a festival. Instead of saying: ‘I d like to invite you to….” he said ” are you attanding…” So? Or he coudn’t estalbish an appointement, a tade a place and an hour. He was saying: we ll talk later, I”ll see later. A sick behavoir. Lole he was depending on someone elese, or a certain secret event, not on his free will. An everyone I met was like this.

  • @celesteredding1550 says:

Ladies, remember that if you don’t know then he certainly doesn’t know. Clear, specific communication is needed for you both. No one wants to waste time guessing

  • @kemi.a.2000 says:

Matt, I have a question for you. When a man says you have been good to me or you are good to me what does he mean?

  • @AnaJimenez-qy1gk says:

This is really good advise… being clear in what we want. Not only in love, but with everything that’s important to us 😊

  • @carolb6581 says:

Mat, this is such excellent advice!!! Thanks ever so much! At my age, truly wish I had been advised of this many, many years ago.

  • @secretshaman189 says:

Great advice Mat! Men are so good with tangibles and specifics, not so good at guessing at what women want, and we need to learn to be more specific with how we communicate our desires.

  • @christinapauquay5603 says:

Tell him about your needs and how you would like him to meet your needs.
It is all about communication 🙂

  • @sheilasheila2709 says:

I feel like I’m complaining when I ask for more of something.

  • @naomigreen9354 says:

I love Matt’s advice it’s concise and right on point.

  • @robyndawn says:

I had a really hard time bringing up saying I love you, because I knew he did and I just kept thinking, ok he’ll tell me eventually. Also talking about getting engaged is scary too

  • @dashiajames1882 says:

I’m single but I don’t wanna ask for to much when get into a relationship. I never even thought of this. I loved this video. Thanks so much.

  • @leahmillar8255 says:

Strangely I’m kinda going through this now regarding communication with a new guy.
He’s in the military and super busy and can get called away and he did this recently and I didn’t hear from him and I just put it out there with him that no matter the time of day if he’s called out just txt me a code word and in that moment I’ll know he’ll be MIA for a few days and it’s been working so far, I even got a heads up last night that I may not hear from him much trust as he’ll be in and out of meetings.

Communication hits differently when your dating someone with emotional maturity

  • @monachopsis5622 says:

Ladies don’t shy away from telling a man that your love language is also gifts!! I made a mistake of not communicating that with fear of being judged in the past but now, I feel confident & always get what i want. Many women shy away from this, its not all there is but we all love it ❤

  • @agankokohappiness7500 says:
