So what if they’re the one gaslighting or falsely accusing you first and you’re the one who calls on YOUR support system to keep your head? I know a guy who would say this is me, except he’s the one who tried to put me down and control me with his false accusations. When someone does this to me I think of the people who love me and what they think of me. If this guy treats me like this, huge red flag. I used to keep my opinion to myself and just let the person go but now, not a chance. The betrayal is too much to keep my mouth shut. Like when a guy, I thought, cared about me but he turns and projects all his own crap and fear and insecurities on to me, I’m stunned for a while and I wouldn’t say anything. Now I don’t care. The relationship just completely changed and I’m done. Now I will call him on it, let him know how wrong he is and tell him all the people I have who know who I am. He will leave my house speechless. And past expiry date.
