If it’s the way I really feel, I’d eventually do just that but anyone who rejects someone they really want and like is just playing games that will backfire 9 X out of 10.
It takes a little courage sometimes but I rather tell people the truth, not only so that I but also they can move on with their live. It’s also a mature thing to communicate openly and not hiding what you’re feeling (or not feeling). I’ve been ghosted twice in my life and I know how much it can hurt, therefore I never wanna do the same pain to others and I also don’t wanna waste other peoples’ time by holding on to a relationship that’s not matching. It’s a matter of respect.
