I let him go years ago because I caught him with someone else.. He tried to come back about 12 times over the years. I just made myself remember that time that I caught him and denied him. I still think of him daily and will never stop. He was the wrong guy. The heart is like a faithful pet. It loves unconditionally. My brain has conditions and is stronger than my heart. This self battle is heartbreaking. Of course, he doesn’t even know.
It isn’t too easy for me to be done. I try to wait and observe if there are changes and chances, but if I decided that it isn’t working, there is no going back. ❤
